App Features

Last verified 2026-08-14

The complete guide to every feature in the P4 Provider app (web, iOS and Android). For who-gets-what at a glance, see the feature comparison.

Getting around: the main navigation is Space · Signals · Journal · Watch · Learn · Plans · Profile (on the phone apps, Plans is labelled Membership; Learn appears only for students, Signals only for roles that have it). A sticky header gives you global search (⌘K / Ctrl-K) across pages, traders, posts and lessons, a Create button, the notification bell, and your avatar → Account menu (Profile · Student card · Verified track record · Settings · Contact & Support · AI contributors · Sign out). Pull down to refresh, or tap the active tab again to jump to top and refetch.

Signals

What it is. Trade calls posted by the P4 Provider research team across four markets — Crypto Spot, Crypto Futures, Forex (incl. gold), and Stocks — each with entry, targets (TP) and stop loss (SL), tracked live against market prices.

Why it's useful. You see exactly what the team is calling, watch it play out in real time, and every closed result lands automatically in the public Track Record — nothing is hidden or retyped.

Who can use it. Everyone with an account sees the tab (students see it only if an admin grants signals access — see comparison). Free members see non-premium signals in full; premium signals show a locked card until you subscribe to that market. Any paid signals plan also includes stock calls.

How to use it:

  1. Open Signals from the main navigation.
  2. Filter by Market (All / Crypto → Spot or Futures / Forex / Stocks) and Status (All / Active / Closed).
  3. Each card shows the pair, a LONG/SHORT chip (with leverage where relevant), a status pill, and the Entry / TP / SL columns.
  4. Expand the Economic calendar at the top of the page to see this week's high- and medium-impact events in your local timezone. Events within the next hour get a warning border — "Reduce risk around high-impact (red) events."
  5. When a signal closes, tap Take this signal to journal it. Choose a mode: live (you traded it), paper ("PAPER TRADE — no real capital used."), or review ("REVIEWED ONLY — I did not take this trade."). The app pre-fills a Journal entry with the pair, direction, entry, R result and the signal's details.

Limits & notes:

  • Cadence: signals are posted on most market days — expect a near-daily rhythm rather than a fixed weekly quota (owner-confirmed 2026-08-13).
  • Delivery is in-app + push only. Signals arrive in the Signals tab and as push notifications on the mobile apps — they are never sent over WhatsApp, Discord or email. (Where plan cards mention WhatsApp/Discord, that's the support channel, not signal delivery.)
  • Open signals are price-polled every 30 seconds; TP/SL crossings are timestamped into the track record.
  • You can't journal a running signal: "This signal is still running — journaling unlocks when it closes."
  • On a locked premium card, free members see: "Premium signal — entry, targets and stop loss are for members." On the web an Unlock Premium button leads to Plans (this button doesn't appear in the iOS/Android apps, per App Store rules).
  • When your plan is within 7 days of expiry, a banner appears — e.g. "Crypto Signals ends in N days" — and renewing stacks on your remaining time.
  • The page footer is part of the product's identity: "Education only — not financial advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results."

Track Record

What it is. The performance dashboard for all published signals: KPI cards, an equity curve (cumulative R), a signal calendar showing R per day, by-market and per-symbol breakdowns, and Top traders this month. A guided tour explains each block.

Why it's useful. Before you pay a rupee, you can judge results yourself. The public version at p4provider.com/track-record is rendered server-side from the same signals database (closed signals, delayed 48 hours, refreshed hourly) — "Nothing typed in by hand."

Who can use it. In-app: every member. On the website: everyone, no account needed.

How to use it:

  1. Open the avatar menu → Verified track record (or the Track Record shortcut at the top of Signals).
  2. Follow the guided tour on first visit; use the calendar to inspect any single day's signals.

Journal + Calculator

What it is. A full trading journal — the heart of the app for most members. Sections: Overview · Trades · Portfolio · Calculator, plus a Tools menu with Import · Strategies · Coach · Targets · Accounts, and one Add Trade button in the header.

Why it's useful. Traders who journal see their own patterns. The journal turns your history into an equity curve, win-rate and mindset analytics, and feeds the AI Coach.

Who can use it. Every member, free included — the journal has no trade-count cap.

How to use it:

  1. Open Journal and tap Add Trade (or take a closed signal from the Signals page).
  2. Overview shows your KPI dashboard, equity curve, 🧠 Performance by mindset, Performance by strategy, and a Trading calendar"Your trading month at a glance — green days, red days, tap any day for its trades."
  3. Trades lists everything with a detail drawer, date-range filter, and before/after chart screenshots with a lightbox.
  4. Portfolio (Spot) tracks buy/sell transactions, DCA, fees and per-coin allocation across multiple spot accounts.
  5. Calculator has four blocks:
    • Position size — calculate BEFORE you enter: outputs your risk in $ and Rs., lot size, stop distance in pips, pip value, position value, potential reward, and Risk : Reward ("1 : x").
    • Profit / Loss projection ($, PKR, and % of account).
    • Margin & leverage (position value, required margin, margin in PKR).
    • Currency conversion — USD ⇄ PKR (shows the rate used), plus quick account math.
  6. Strategies lets you write named playbooks (name + rules) and see per-strategy performance.
  7. Targets holds your goals: monthly P&L, max daily loss, max trades per day, win-rate goal, plus multi-goal savings-style targets with deadlines.
  8. Accounts manages your trading accounts (name, broker, currency, balance).

Limits & notes:

  • Import options: MT4/MT5 report import (with a "Preview — N trades detected" step), Binance auto-sync for spot, and AI screenshot import — see Services & integrations.
  • An account that still has transactions can't be deleted — move or delete its trades first.
  • The built-in (non-AI) Coach needs at least 3 trades: "Log at least 3 trades and your coach starts spotting patterns in your trading." It flags revenge trading ("Consider a hard rule: one loss = 1 hour break."), overtrading (more than 3 trades a day), and emotion-vs-P&L patterns.

AI Coach

What it is. An AI analysis of your own journal (up to your last 100 trades plus your mindset stats), acting as "P4 Provider AI".

Why it's useful. It grounds every observation in your numbers — no generic advice — and gives at most 3 action items at a time.

Who can use it. Every member. Fair-use limits: 3 requests/minute and a shared 10 AI actions/day budget (shared with AI screenshot import).

How to use it:

  1. Open Journal → Tools → Coach.
  2. Ask for an analysis. The Coach is education-only by design: it will never give buy/sell recommendations or price predictions, and if your data is thin (fewer than 5 trades) it says so and focuses on journaling habits.

Community Feed (Space)

What it is. The home tab — "Space — Salam, <name> 👋". A moderated community feed of trade ideas and market news from members, the P4 team, and clearly-labelled AI contributor accounts, plus a workspace briefing (biggest mover since your last visit, your daily streak, notification digest).

Why it's useful. It's where the institute lives day to day: ideas get discussed, the Daily Brief lands, and students' lecture posts appear.

Who can use it. Every member can read, post and comment. Posting quota: 5 posts per rolling 24 hours (the composer shows "N of 5 posts available… resets <time>"), comments capped at 30/hour. Only staff can attach images to comments/messages; regular posts can carry up to 4 images.

How to use it:

  1. On Space, pick a feed tab: For You · Following · Watchlist, or open Filters (e.g. "latest" = pure chronological).
  2. Tap Create to post. The composer is two-phase: Compose, then "Preview & safety check."
  3. For a trade idea, fill Direction, Timeframe, Entry area, Stop loss, Target area, Thesis (≤1000 chars) and Disclosure (≤300). Use $BTC-style cashtags to tag instruments. News posts should carry a source URL.
  4. Declare authorship — human / AI-assisted / AI-generated. Mostly-AI posts don't count toward reputation or verification.
  5. Publish. Every post runs automated safety checks and comes back as published, pending, or rejected.

The posting rules (shown in the composer, verbatim): "No guaranteed-return or 'risk-free' claims · never ask for money, credentials, wallet keys or seed phrases · present opinions as opinions · trade ideas involve risk and are not personalized financial advice."

Moderation tools: Report any post or comment (with a reason), Block a member (mutual hide, removes follows), or Mute (silent). The Community Guidelines promise: "We aim to act on reports within 24 hours." By posting you agree to the Community Guidelines — zero tolerance for abuse.

Limits & notes: on large screens the right rail shows your live Watchlist (up to 8 symbols on a live Binance ticker), followed ideas, suggested traders, trending instruments, and "About the AI contributors in this feed." Drafts persist if you close the composer.

Watch

What it is. P4 Provider's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@P4Provider), mirrored inside the app: a Shorts section (full-screen swipe-up/down reels with a mute toggle) and a Videos grid.

Why it's useful. All the educational video output in one place, no YouTube account or app needed, and it keeps a local cache for poor connections.

Who can use it. Every member — "Open to every role."

How to use it:

  1. Open Watch from the navigation (on phones, if you're staff, Watch may move from the bottom bar into the sidebar/⌘K search).
  2. Swipe through Shorts, or browse Videos (paged 12 at a time).

Limits & notes: new uploads appear within a couple of hours of going live on YouTube (the library syncs roughly every 2 hours and holds up to 400 videos).

Learn (LMS)

What it is. The learning management system for mentorship students. Tabs, in order: Content · Chat · Assignments · Live Classes · Workshops · Fees (Chat needs a batch; Live Classes hides once your batch completes; Workshops appears only if your batch is invited). The header shows your course title and batch badge; tab badges show pending assignments (gold) and upcoming classes (red).

Why it's useful. Lifetime, structured access to the full mentorship: recorded lectures, graded assignments, live Zoom classes with recordings, and your certificate at the end.

Who can use it. Students only. Everyone else sees a "Mentorship students only" card — "The LMS — recorded lectures, assignments, grades and certificates — is part of the P4 Provider mentorship." — with an Apply for Mentorship button (web only). Students with overdue fees may have access paused (Profile shows "Course access paused").

How to use it — Content:

  1. Open Learn → Content. The Course progress bar tracks the percentage of released lectures you've completed, with a continue-where-you-left-off shortcut.
  2. Play a lecture — the player resumes where you stopped. On desktop it's a two-pane layout (player left, lecture list right).
  3. Take timestamped notes — tapping a note later seeks the video to that moment.
  4. Mark lectures complete as you go (each completed lecture earns +20 XP).

Your curriculum is per-batch: you see your batch's modules plus shared ones, and multi-batch students see all their batches' content.

How to use it — Assignments:

  1. Open Learn → Assignments ("Your assigned work"). Due dates are relative to your enrollment date, so nothing issued before you joined shows as overdue.
  2. Submit up to 3 files per assignment. You can withdraw a submission before it's graded.
  3. Grades and mentor feedback appear inline on the assignment.

Certificates: see Student plan — Certificates.

Mentor Q&A

What it is. A private thread between you and your mentor, inside Learn → Chat, alongside your batch's group room.

Why it's useful. Structured, asynchronous 1-to-1 help — your question never gets lost in a group chat, and mentors work from an inbox that surfaces unanswered threads first.

Who can use it. Students (and graduates keep their mentor thread; the batch room becomes read-only history after the batch completes).

How to use it:

  1. Open Learn → Chat and switch to your mentor thread.
  2. Type your question (up to 2000 characters), optionally attaching a chart image or a voice note.
  3. When the mentor answers, you can rate the answer.

Live Classes & Workshops

What it is. Live Classes are your batch's scheduled Zoom sessions, shown with a countdown card; recordings attach to the session afterwards. Workshops are extra live sessions (aimed at graduates and invited batches) with their own recordings.

Why it's useful. The live half of the mentorship — real-time teaching, live trading sessions, and Q&A — with recordings so you never lose a missed session.

Who can use it. Students see Live Classes until their batch is completed. Workshops appear only if your batch is on the workshop's invite list; graduates get workshop access.

How to use it:

  1. Open Learn → Live Classes. The next session shows a countdown; join via the Zoom link when it goes live.
  2. After the session, the recording appears on the same card.
  3. Check Learn → Workshops for invited extra sessions.

Daily Brief

What it is. An automated daily market post in the community feed, published by a clearly-labelled AI account operated by P4 Provider.

Why it's useful. A consistent daily starting point for market context.

Who can use it. Every member — it simply appears in Space.

Limits & notes: all automated accounts are disclosed on the AI contributors page (avatar menu → AI contributors), and carry an "Automated AI account operated by P4 Provider" label.

Economic Calendar & Prices

What it is. A live weekly economic calendar (high- and medium-impact events, local timezone) embedded at the top of the Signals page, plus live prices: the Watchlist rail on Space (live 24h Binance ticker, up to 8 symbols) and live price tracking on open signals.

Why it's useful. News events move markets; the calendar warns you — with a highlighted border — when a high-impact event is within the hour: "Reduce risk around high-impact (red) events."

Who can use it. In-app: anyone who can see the Signals page (so free members yes; students without signals access see it on the website instead at p4provider.com/tools/economic-calendar, which is free for everyone).

How to use it:

  1. Open Signals and expand the Economic calendar at the top. A badge shows "N high impact this week."
  2. For prices, add symbols to your Watchlist — the rail on Space tracks them live.

Student ID Card & Attendance

See the full section in Student plan. In brief: enrolled students get a digital ID card (avatar menu → Student card) with a rotating attendance QR ("Code refreshes automatically — show it at the venue to mark attendance."). Each enrollment includes 30 attendance scans; you can request more (with an optional proof upload) and an admin reviews every request. The QR encodes a signed, rotating token with no personal data.

Referrals (Invite & Earn) and XP

What it is. Two separate reward systems on your Profile → Rewards & progress:

  1. Invite & Earn — your personal link https://app.p4provider.com/r/<your-id>. Rule: every 3 friends who join a paid plan = 1 month of signals free. A friend counts once the team verifies their payment. You redeem earned months as Forex or Crypto signal time — and don't sit on them: an earned free month must be redeemed within 3 months of being earned, or it lapses (owner-confirmed 2026-08-14). The card's own guard-rail: "Rewards are membership credit — never a cash payout or investment return."
  2. XP, levels, badges and streaks — activity points, never performance points: journaled trade +10, lecture completed +20, signal taken into journal +5, daily streak +5/day, graduation +200. As the card says: "XP reflects activity, never trading performance." Badges include First Trade Logged 📓, 7-Day Streak 🔥, 50 Trades Journaled 📈, Risk Discipline 🛡️, Dedicated Student 🎓, Course Graduate 🏆, Signal Veteran 🎯.

Who can use it. Every member. (The separate broker referral program — 30 days of free signals via Exness/Binance — is covered in Free plan.)

How to use Invite & Earn:

  1. Open Profile → Rewards & progress and copy your invite link.
  2. Share it. Your stats show invited / joined paid / free months earned.
  3. When you've earned a month, choose Forex or Crypto to redeem it — within 3 months of earning it.

Support Tickets

What it is. The in-app help desk: avatar menu → Contact & Support.

Who can use it. Every member. (Visitors without an account should use the website contact form or WhatsApp instead — see Contact & support.)

How to use it:

  1. Open Contact & Support and tap + New ticket.
  2. Fill in a Subject (≤120 characters), pick a Category (General / Payment & billing / Signals / Course & LMS / App problem), and describe the issue (≤1000 characters). For payment issues, include your TRX ID.
  3. Optionally attach one file — "Images, PDF or a document, up to 10 MB."
  4. Submit. "Open a ticket — the team replies here and you'll get a notification." An AI first-line agent may answer immediately; a human follows up as needed. Your ticket shows its ID, age and status (Open / In progress / Closed), plus either "<agent> is on it" or "Waiting for an agent."
  5. When it's resolved, you can rate the ticket.

Notifications

What it is. In-app notifications (the bell in the header — last 6 shown, with Mark all read and See all notifications) plus push notifications on the mobile apps.

Why it's useful. Signal alerts, ticket replies, payment confirmations, class reminders and mentions all arrive here.

Who can use it. Every member.

How to use it:

  1. Tap the bell to see recent notifications; tap one to jump straight to the related screen (notifications deep-link).
  2. Tune what you get in Settings → Notification preferences — realtime signal alerts respect your per-market choices (crypto / forex / stocks).
