Crypto is the most accessible market for Pakistani traders: it runs 24/7, requires little starting capital, and onboarding is straightforward. Accessibility, however, cuts both ways: the same low barrier that lets you in quickly also removes every speed bump between a beginner and their first big mistake.
Know the market's personality
Crypto is structurally more volatile than forex. Bitcoin can move in a day what a major currency pair moves in a month, and smaller altcoins can double or halve in a week. Volatility is opportunity and threat in equal measure. Position sizing that would be conservative in forex can be reckless in crypto. Rule of thumb: whatever risk you planned, check it against the asset's real daily range first.
Spot first, leverage later (much later)
Spot trading (buying the asset outright) means your worst case is the asset going to zero slowly enough to exit. Futures with 20x leverage mean a 5% move against you wipes the position. Every experienced trader we know says the same thing: beginners have no business with high leverage. Learn structure, entries and risk on spot. Treat leveraged futures as an advanced tool with its own rules, including funding rates that quietly eat careless positions.
Custody and security are part of trading
Use reputable exchanges, enable two-factor authentication, and never share account access or "signals bots" API keys with strangers. A perfect trade means nothing if your account is compromised. Be especially sceptical of anyone on WhatsApp or Telegram offering guaranteed returns or asking to trade on your behalf. Investment-scam losses in Pakistan dwarf trading losses.
The same discipline applies
Market structure, liquidity sweeps, order blocks, session behaviour around US hours, risk fixed per trade: everything we teach for forex applies to crypto charts, because the participants' psychology is identical. Our crypto signals carry the same 8-point confluence checklist and the same public track record as every other market we cover.
The market being open 24/7 does not mean you should be. The best crypto traders have the strictest schedules.
Regulations and tax treatment of digital assets continue to evolve in Pakistan. Keep informed through official sources and consult a professional about your obligations. Education only, not financial advice.
